We've been slinging tacos and simmering sauces for over sixteen years, and we've run our own kitchen for thirteen of them. Fernando's Grill & Cantina picks up right where our old spot left off — same recipes, same love, brand new home right here in Downtown Livermore.
We believe good food starts with heart, and we put a little of ours into every plate that leaves our kitchen. You can taste it, and so can our regulars — some of them have been with us since our very first restaurant.

For over 16 years, Fernando has let his passion for authentic Mexican cooking do the talking—and for 13 of those years, he’s been running the show from the kitchen.
Every morning starts the same way: sauces simmering slowly, beans warming on the stove, and Fernando personally checking every pan before the first breakfast order hits the line. Guests who frequented Old Mexico Bar & Grill will instantly recognize his familiar face behind the counter.
